Zambia safari

Zambia is more than worthy of its epithet, the real Africa.  With exceptional game viewing and some of the friendliest people, a luxury Zambia safari is a chance to immerse yourself in the ultimate safari destination; a real 'gem' away from the crowds.

A Zambia safari with Abercrombie & Kent is like no other. Thanks to our unique local knowledge and privileged access, Zambia safaris with A&K are blessed with the finest guides and access to the richest wildlife experiences.

Arrive by helicopter into the Busanga Plains in the northern reaches of the Kafue National Park. Kafue is the largest national park in Zambia - roughly the size of Wales - and is home to the distinctive Kafue red lechwe and is a birders' paradise. The plains are a vast watery wilderness teeming with wildlife and the perfect hors d'oeuvre to Luangwa.

Luangwa, arguably the finest game park in Africa, is famed for its ox-bow lakes, night game drives and Zambia walking safaris. It is a real privilege and thrill to walk so close to so much game but to be doing so with some of the very best guides in the business makes for unforgettable safaris in Zambia.

The Lower Zambezi Park is the water experience of Zambia. A haven for elephants and those with a pachyderm passion, bush camps are scattered along the water's edge and are great settings for watching the river activity. A chance to explore this region by boat is highly recommended. A Zambia safari would not be complete without a visit to the breathtaking Victoria Falls -the local name, Mosi-oa-Tunya or the Smoke that Thunders, says it all.

Pricing
At A&K all of our journeys are individually tailored to suit your needs and timescale. However, as a guide, a 9 day Zambia safari will cost from £3,945 per person based on two adults sharing with flights from the UK and subject to availability.
