Tunisia Holidays

Travel east for a holiday in Tunisia, birthplace of the Carthaginian challenge to the ancient Roman Empire.  Your holiday in Tunisia will open a treasure trove of ruins, with intricate columns glowing yellow in the low evening night and perfectly preserved in the desert sands. Easily accessible, Tunisian holidays offer a wealth of interest together with its glorious beaches.

Your Tunisian holiday with Abercrombie & Kent will be as diverse and special as the country itself.

The capital Tunis, the starting point for many holidays in Tunisia, is an old fortified town which evolved into a city under the Arabs. Masterpieces of Arab-Islamic architecture such as the Zitouna Mosque can be found at the centre of the old city.  Tunis is also recommended for its medina, the Tourbet el Bey (mausoleum), the colourful souks amongst the narrow alleyways and the Bardo Museum, housed in a 19th century palace with its Roman mosaics.

Outside of Tunis, the village of Sidi Bou Said brings your Tunisia holiday to the unique scenery of domes, arched doors and baclonies in blue and white.  The ruins of the great maritime city of Ancient Carthage are scattered along the coast.
