Madagascar HOLIDAYS

Renowned for the diversity of its flora and fauna - most of which can be found nowhere else on earth - Madagascar is one of the most exciting and fascinating destinations in the world.  At Abercrombie & Kent, we are dedicated to making your Madagascar holiday (or Madagascar Honeymoon) an unforgettable experience.

A Madagascar holiday with A&K is all about making the most of the island's unique sights and sounds.  Our attention to detail and local knowledge ensures you get an authentic and privileged experience - our touches of glamour and luxury, meanwhile, have transformed many a Madagascar Honeymoon into the trip of a lifetime.

A&K holidays and honeymoons in Madagascar are as unique as the island environment itself.

The richness and diversity of Madagascar's landscapes is unique: from the eerie spiny forests of the southwest, to the lush eastern rainforests which are home to playful lemurs and two thirds of the world's chameleon species, including the dwarf chameleon (at the size of your thumb, the smallest in the world).  The west meanwhile is dominated by species-rich dry deciduous forests.

Alternatively, travel inland along roads that twist through mountains and across rivers revealing small villages where sacred rites are still intrinsically entwined into the daily life of the people. Your guides will unlock these unique customs, taboos and traditions, often pertaining to the wildlife, and show you a people with a rich culture and colourful history.

Encircling it all are dazzling Indian Ocean beaches, tropical island archipelagos and pristine reefs - visit in September to see humpback whales come to calve in the shallow waters to the northeast of the island.
