Seville
Seville's cherished patroness, the Virgin of the Immaculate Conception, receives her annual dues and devotion on Plaza de Triunfo during the popular La Fiesta de La Virgen de La Inmaculada 7 - 14 December. The Virgin's day is on the 8 December, but celebrations begin the evening before. At midnight, students dressed in 17th-century costume put on a performance of singing and acting to honour the Virgin in the Plaza del Triunfo.
