Day 1 to 2 - London/YangonBoard your overnight flight with Thai Airways via Bangkok to Yangon where you will stay at the Strand Hotel.

Day 3 - Yangon/Putao

Fly to Putao and check-in to Malikha Lodge for a three night stay. This afternoon trek the forested hills behind the lodge, before descending into the Nam Lang Valley (a few miles upstream from the lodge). Kayak through the occasional gentle rapids back to the lodge.

Day 4 - Putao

Enjoy a scenic river gorge cruise to the picturesque village of Machanbaw then venture downstream by long tail boat onto the Malikha River with a picnic lunch at a spectacular riverside beach inside the gorge.

Day 5 - Putao

Today kayak downstream to the village of Mulashidi then return back through a series of beautiful Lisu riverside dwellings by mountain bike.

Day 6 - Putao/Bagan

Early morning visit the Putao market where at sunrise traders from the outlying Rawang and Lisu villages descend on the market to sell their vegetables, dried fish, fabrics and basket ware. In the afternoon fly to Mandalay and connect with your flight to Bagan for your stay at the Thiripyitsaya Sakura Hotel.

Day 7 - Bagan/Road to Mandalay

Enjoy a tour of ancient Bagan and see more than 2000 temples and shrines. Then join the elegant river cruiser, Road To Mandalay to begin a three-night cruise.

Days 8 to 9 - Ayeyarwaddy

Over the next two days enjoy tours of Amarapura and U Bein bridge. View the world's largest intact bell , the astonishing ruins of the world's biggest pagoda and visit the Buddhist centre of Sagaing.

Days 10 - Maymyo

After disembarking enjoy a day in Maymyo. See the All Saints Church, the Kandawgyi National Garden and the 100-year-old Al Jamal Mosque. Overnight tonight at the Sedona Mandalay Hotel.

Day 11 - Mandalay/Heho

Fly to Heho, gateway to Inle Lake. This afternoon tour Inle Lake with a visit to the Jumping Cats Monastery. Stay at Inle Princess Resort for two nights.

Day 12 - Inle Lake

Tour Inle Lake and its environs by private boat with stops including the Phaung Daw U Pagoda, the Floating Gardens and a fascinating silk-weaving factory.

Day 13 - Heho/Yangon

Fly to Yangon. See the Botataung Pagoda, SulePagoda, the Reclining Buddha, the Gems Museum and the National Museum. End the day with a heavenly sunset at the breathtaking Shwedagon Pagoda. Overnight at the Strand Hotel.

Day 14 - Yangon/London

Transfer to the airport to board your homebound flight via Bangkok.
