Day 1 – London/BeijingBoard your overnight Cathay Pacific flight from Heathrow to Beijing via Hong Kong.Day 2 – Beijing
Arrive in Beijing and check-in to the Peninsula Beijing hotel, home for the next three nights. Visit the Temple of Heaven and take a Hutong tour by pedicab then visit Hongqiao Market or Silk Alley.Day 3 – Beijing
A full day sightseeing including visits to Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the lakes and pavilions of the Summer Palace with a boat ride on Kunming Lake and lunch at a local Restaurant. Day 4 – Beijing
A full day excursion with a local lunch to the Great Wall of China, the world’s largest man-made structure. Climb the ramparts at Mutianyu, take a cable car ride, discover the Spirit Way and explore the Ming Tombs.Day 5 – Beijing/Shanghai
Fly to Shanghai and transfer to the Four Seasons hotel for a two night stay. This afternoon visit the the Urban Planning and Shanghai Museums.Day 6 – Shanghai
This morning travel to the ancient river town of Zhujiajiao and take a boat ride, visit Yu Gardens and Old Town and view the Bund. This evening enjoy an acrobatic show.Day 7 – Shanghai/Hong Kong
Enjoy a final morning sightseeing, including the French Concession and the Jade Buddha Temple. Lunch in the afternoon, before transferring to the airport for your flight to Hong Kong. On arrival you will be transferred to the Peninsula Hotel for a two night stay.Day 8 - Hong Kong
After breakfast enjoy a morning of sightseeing, including Sheung Wan Herbal Market and Man Mo Temple. Take the Peak Tram to Victoria, visit Aberdeen fishing village for lunch before a sampan boat ride.Day 9 - Hong Kong/LondonDay at leisure until your Rolls Royce transfer to the airport for your flight back to London.
Guilin Extension (2 nts)
